«Obviously, many of you heard about the recent tragedies in my country that happened over the past month. When I was watching it on TV or talking to my family back in Russia, I could not hold my tears back. I do not understand how the senseless and horrendous acts could prove any point of view and be done in the name of any religion where hundreds and hundreds of innocent people died. There is no cause or any reason in the world the price of proving which should be that high. Three days ago, I saw on TV that the schools were reopen in Beslan and I saw the little kids who suffered this horrendous act going back to school. I remember the picture of this little boy sitting at his school desk and he was crying uncontrollably. Looking at this picture, I asked myself the same question "Why, in what name, and for what kind of reason was this done to innocent children?" There is no justification for people to do something like this and the people who did something like this are not human. It is a pity to see our world is so cruel right now. All of these senseless acts of crime in Russia, Middle East, Iraq, Indonesia, etc. Only innocent people suffer because of this and it is a pity that politicians do not do enough to protect us from this brutality.»
